Located in Marsa, just outside Valletta, the Royal Malta Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs outside the United Kingdom - and among a select few worldwide to hold Royal status. Founded in 1888, it blends historic character with a distinctive, beautifully landscaped course at the heart of Malta.

Now in its second year, the prestigious tournament continues to grow in stature, supported by a significant prize fund thanks to event sponsors Presidio, ALL IN Platform, and Alea. The 2025 tournament was held at the renowned Loch Lomond Golf Club, where Team Malta secured a dramatic victory - winning on the final green of the last match to take the trophy home. In a moment of pure drama, Ryan Kerr, Commercial Director at Unibo, delivered a stunning chip shot over a bunker to win his match - sealing the decisive points and clinching the Trophy for Team Malta.

Played in a Ryder Cup-style format, the event features 20 players versus 20 players competing across a mix of singles and doubles matches, bringing together leading figures from the global iGaming industry for both elite competition and high-value networking. This year, the return leg moves to the Royal Malta Golf Club, setting the stage for another fiercely contested championship on Maltese soil. The tournament is complemented by a major iGaming networking event on the evening of Monday 11th May, welcoming industry executives from across the globe who may not be competing but want to be part of the experience.
